I graduated with a BSc (Physical Therapy) from the University of Toronto in 1988. I began my career at the West Nipissing General Hospital in Sturgeon Falls, ON, working rotations in inpatient, outpatient, and home care. Since 1991, I have worked primarily in orthopedic and sports private practices in Ajax, ON. In 2016 I opened a treatment studio in my home.
I love to learn, and have taken numerous courses over the years in manual therapy, exercise prescription, acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, John F Barnes Myofascial Release, Matrix Repatterning, visceral manipulation and pelvic health.
I am rostered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario to perform internal pelvic work following training with Pelvic Health Solutions in evidence based assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of pelvic health concerns.
Services
In my home practice I focus on myofascial release, matrix repatterning, craniosacral therapy, and male & female pelvic health, including pelvic pain, prolapse and incontinence. Assessment and treatment are focused on the whole patient.
Your initial assessment starts with me taking the time to listen to your whole story, including full medical history and life events that may be affecting your recovery. Evaluation of your postural alignment, muscle strength/imbalances, fascial/soft tissue/joint restrictions, and movement patterns help locate the sources of your complaints/problems.
A personalized treatment plan including hands on techniques such as myofascial release and matrix repatterning, education, and specific prescribed home exercises is developed to help you reach your goals.
Fees
Initial assessment and treatment
1.25 hr $150
Follow up treatments:
- 1 hour $110
- 45 min $95
Home visits may be available for an extra cost depending on distance travelled.
Methods of Payment
Full payment by etransfer, cash, or cheque is due at the end of each session.

What should I wear?
For women, a two piece bathing suit or loose fitting shorts and a sport bra with a sleeveless shirt.
For men, loose fitting shorts.
Do you direct bill?
No, you are required to pay in full at the time of treatment. Receipts will be provided for submission to your insurance company.
